John 8:32 “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” If it does not set you free it is false.
The traditional meaning of this verse is that the true knowledge and understanding of God’s word (the truth) will liberate you from the bondage of sin and bring you true freedom. I agree with this but I would like to elaborate on it a bit. To sin means to simply make an error, so from a lighthearted perspective it doesn’t carry all the gloom and doom. I prefer this view especially for day to day living and dealing with the simple things. A collection of daily errors (sins) over a long period of time even in simple things like health and finances will be to a person’s detriment (keep him in an eternal cycle of error and thus in the eternal bondage of sin).
We know that if someone commits a crime and then goes to the police station to speak the truth, it certainly does not set the person free, at least not here on earth. So how can this teaching be used for our earthly purposes on a daily basis?
I invite you to consider that when a person speaks a truth or a falsehood to another person, the person who hears those words is the one who is either set free or restricted more.
For example, if I say to you “do not ever eat any wild foods! Everything in the woods is poisonous!” Do these spoken words offer you more freedom or more restriction? Clearly, they offer more restriction because now you will be afraid to consume any wild food you may find in the forests. These spoken words are clearly false because many wild plants/mushrooms are indeed edible and very delicious. But if I say to you “wild mushrooms are very delicious but you must learn which ones are edible, which ones have poisonous look-alikes and which ones are deadly or have deadly look-alikes.” These words offer you more freedom because now you have learned that there is an additional source of food, but the words come with a caution. But words of caution can be viewed as liberating because they stimulate you to learn something you do not know.
Second example, what if I say to you “your children cannot attend school without the required vaccinations!” Initially, this statement appears to be true and yet it is restrictive. A context must be defined. Let’s first distinguish between the God Matrix (natural law) and the fake matrix. The fake matrix is the totality of all laws passed by legislatures and regulations put in place by government-regulatory agencies. Within the fake matrix these words are true but in the God Matrix these words are false because they impose restrictions upon your life and daily living (assuming of course that your daily life follows the laws of the God Matrix). Needless to say, many laws/regulations are in conflict with God’s laws and on the individual level there are people who perpetuate lies and misinformation.
So, when you hear words spoken to you, those words will either set you free or entangle you further in the bondage of sin and you by your spoken words will either set someone free or entangle that person further in the bondage of sin. Always do your best to evaluate words you hear or read within the context of the God Matrix and the fake matrix. Let your inner intelligence guide you to figure out which are verbal lies and/or written lies.
